Frequently Asked Questions

How many Personal Training sessions do I need?

Sessions are dependent on your goals, and the duration in which you have to reach them. I will always be honest with clients about goals we set, and whether they are achievable. I offer multiple packages to suit each individual need, whether it is 4 sessions or 12 session pack.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give up to 24 hours notice before cancelling a Personal Training session to avoid incurring a charge for that session.

How do I pay for Personal training sessions?

For St Sidwells Point and remote services such as online coaching or hybrid, it is paid by BACS or through Stripe.

What do I need for Personal Training sessions?

You will need gym clothing, a water bottle (there are water refilling stations) and appropriate footwear.

What should I eat before training?

I always recommend to clients to eat a balanced meal 2 hours before training, and to stay hydrated to cope with the demands of the workout.

How will you track my progress?

Through my Trainerize app, I can see every time you complete a workout, the intensity of the workout, and your max weight lifted. Each week workouts are scheduled to increase in difficulty alongside your goals.

The Fitness assessments are performed as needed to track your progress.

Is the gym entrance accessible?

St Sidwells Point is fully accessible, with disabled bathrooms, shower, a vision-mate box in each bathroom for an audio description of what is in the room, and accommodations for hard of hearing also. There is also a cafe. The gym has wheelchair accessible equipment.

Do I need to pay for gym membership?

St Sidwells Point Membership

For online training you will need to sign up to your local gym, however training can be done from a home setting too.
